ADRENALINUM An Internal Secretion of Suprarenal Glands (ADRENALIN) Adrenaline or Epinephrine, the active principle of the medulla of the suprarenal gland, (cortical secretion not as yet isolated), is employed as a chemical messenger in the regulation of the activities of the body; in fact, its presence is essential to the activity of the sympathetic nerve. Adrenaline action on any part is the same as  stimulation of the sympathetic nerve endings  thereto. ABROMA AUGUSTA Abroma augusta is an Indian medicine and very frequently used in Ayurveda. The plant is available throughout the hotter parts of India, and to some areas of Sikkim, Khasia hills and Assam. A homoeopathic tincture is made from the leaves of the plant. Its homoeopathic proving has been done in India by the “Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy” (CCRH). Some provings have also been reported by Dr. D. N. Ray. In mother tincture, abroma augusta uses are many. It is used for albuminurea, sleeplessness, diabetes mellitus, diabetes insipidus,  and debility. The root and the sap are uterine tonic and emmenagogue, with black pepper given in congestive and neuralgic dysmenorrhoea, and amenorrhoea, either given a week before or during menstruation.
